Winnipeg has a fascinating history and it is best told by its oldest residents. Instead of me talking, I’d like to point you to a book that I’ve had the pleasure of reading this past year.

Winipek: Visions of Canada from an Indigenous Centre by Niigaan Sinclair. You can find it anywhere good books are sold. My personal recommendation is to find it at McNally Robinson.
