Rouler Sa Bosse

Rouler Sa Bosse by Bruce Cockburn is my Friday Favourite this week. The song is featured on Cockburn’s album entitled Speechless. In celebration of the traditional Thanksgiving it seems fitting to feature a song without words. Too often our words of thanksgiving are just that. To be thankful is to steward the gifts we have received and to share from the abundance that we have in our care. Give thanks through the acts of generosity and wise use of our own resources.

I could have picked the entire album, but I chose this song in large part because of the clarinet featured in the song. It is the extra which puts it over the top, just like the colours of fall are a bit of the extra that make it such a special time of year.
